It might be a little late and hey, you might have even thought we finally hung up our santa hats, but the 5th season of Operation Secret Santa happened. Over the past five years we managed to visit over 100 people!
If you went to John Carroll-you should absolutely consider attending the 2nd Annual Alumni Weekend from September 28th to the 30th.

The National Shaprened Crayons Kickball Association League of America holds yet another outdoor telethon to support the 2012 kickball season.
Bring all of your friends and join the band “Sharpened Crayons” to help usher in the first kickball game of the 2012 season on June 13th, 2012.
Kickball starts at 6pm at Churchville Rec on the 3rd field in the back lot. We’ll have tons of water too. Afterwards when it gets dark, we will all head over to Arctic Circle per usual for awards and ice cream. See you guys there. Dust off the old game face and bring it.
Fun Fact: In addition to doing all the other things that we do, we are also some pretty fly DJs!
SO if you are looking to hire anyone to spin some pretty kickn beats this summer for that grad party you’re having or that sick dance party you’ve always wanted, hit us up!!
Despite popular belief (due to a typo during kickball), Vince Gruse is actually alive, well, and sharing/voted for our jingle.
Guess what? Our St. Augustine music video won the History With Heart contest!! Thank you to everyone for your support.
With 117 votes in just 24 hours, you guys ROCK! Check out the new article that was just posted about the sweet win.
My personal favorite quote:
“Their video stood out because it had an original, off-the-wall spin on the contest theme”
And sometimes when we are watching Judge Joe Brown while giving an interview, we give quotes like this:
“Basta likens the sound of the Sharpened Crayons to “Judge Joe Brown, if he was a musician.” The accuracy of that might be clouded by its abstractness, but according to Basta, it sounds cool nonetheless.”
Note to self: I need to watch Judge Joe Brown more.
